Middle School FTC Event Registration is OPEN!

The events for our 2013 FIRST in Michigan Middle School FTC season have been finalized and are posted on the FIRST and FIRST in Michigan sites.

Mark your calendars for Tuesday, October 15th, at 7:00am - event registration opens!  The main contacts for each team will receive a google form via email to be used to register for this season's events.  Each team should submit one form.  Registration is on a first come-first served basis.

The FIRST in Michigan FTC Event Process, including advancement criteria, is available at this link:  https://docs.google.com/document/d/1fksfUCR19aTMHlHKAUNFti4cz3EE8UKaxZwUD5bBZD0/pub.

Please note that each team will participate in one (1) qualifier.  Participating in a scrimmage is highly recommended.  It is a great way to experience the game, establish field comm and network with other teams for assistance and tips.  It also provides the chance to "work the quirks" out of your robot!

The Consent and Release form is required for all team members participating in FIRST events.  The FIRST Student Team Information Member System (STIMS) system provides the ability for team members (13 years and up) to complete their FIRST Consent and Release Forms electronically.  STIMS also enables a coach to produce a STIMS generated roster that is submitted at event check-in in lieu of hard copy Consent and Release forms.  For more information about STIMS:  http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/ftc/stims.

Team members less than 13 years of age cannot use STIMS and must submit a hard copy Consent and Release form.  The completed forms and/or roster are turned in during check-in at a team's first official event.
