Updates and Reminders

Updates & reminders:
  • RobotC Upgrade:  For users of RobotC, version 3.51 has a bug that affects Program Chooser. Teams should get the free upgrade to the latest version, 3.54.  Visit the robotc.net site for more information.
  • Part Request:  A team is looking for a powered Hitechnic sensor multiplexer they can borrow. If your team has one they aren't using, please email Brian Smith at novirobotics@gmail.com and he'll put you in touch.
  • Medallions:  Teams will receive twelve 2012 Ring It Up game pins in their team packet at each of our qualifying events.  FTC does not award medallions to every participant. Medallions are presented to teams earning the Inspire Award as well as the Winning and Finalist Alliances.
  • Volunteers:  Each team MUST provide at least one volunteer at each event where the team participates.  Contact your event host with your volunteer's name and contact information.  This is facet of gracious professionalism that we provide support and assistance where needed!
  • The Compass Award, recognizing an Outstanding Adult Mentor/Coach, will be presented at both of our Championship Events.  This is a 40-60 second video submission.  Coaches/Mentors - please forward this information to your teams and give them the opportunity to thank you for all you've done!
  • Know the rules!!  Review the Game Manuals - knowledge is power!
  • FIRST Consent forms are required from every participant and are turned in at the first event of the season for that team.  Teams using STIMS can turn in a roster generated from that system.  Thank you to Bedford Express coach, Debbie May, these instruction on How to Print Your Roster from STIMS.
